Start Pick-up

8:00 AM - 8:30 AM: Our tour guide will come and pick you up at your hotel then begin our Trang An Mua Cave Tour. The drive to Ninh Binh will be approximately 2 hours.

10:30 AM: Arrive at Mua Cave - the first destination of our Trang An Mua Cave Tour. Located in Dau Khe hamlet, Mua Cave is considered one of the must-see destinations in Ninh Binh Province. In Vietnamese, Mua Cave means “dancing cave” because in the past, Tran Kings used to come here to enjoy intriguing dancing and singing shows performed in this cave.
You need to prepare a good pair of shoes since you will hike 500 steps to the top to the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain. Reaching the peak, you can enjoy the amazing whole view of all Tam Coc area. It sounds fabulous, right?

12:30 PM: Go to a local restaurant and enjoy special lunch full of traditional cuisines, especially the goat meat - cuisine of this area.

1:30 PM: Arrive at Trang An Complex. Just like its name, Trang An is a complex of many natural components including mountains, limestone karsts, spectacular valleys surrounded by vertical cliffs, rivers and water caves. The only way to visit this area is by boat.
Tourists will get on boats rowed by the local people. Sitting on a boat surrounded by majestic yet tranquil nature is surely an unforgettable feeling and experience. The boat ride will take about 1.5 hours. This will be the highlight of your Trang An Mua Cave Tour.

Don’t forget to take your camera since the scenery here is so beautiful to the point that you can take a random shot and it’ll turn out to be a gorgeous picture.

Hanoi Return

After visiting Trang An, you’ll get on car to go back to Hanoi.

6:00 – 6:30 PM: Reach Hanoi, we will drop you back to your hotel. Our Trang An Mua Cave Tour ends here.

Great service with so so friendly local guide Linh

Love Mua Mountain with the fantastic view of the Tam Coc valley and the boat ride in Trang An. And the local restaurant served tasty Vietnamese food, especially goat meat. I would truly recommend this Trang An Mua Cave tour

Amazing tour with amazing guide!

I knew about AZ Local Trip through a friend and now I know why she loves their tours so much. They are very professional, especially Jenny, who gave us a lot of useful advice on our trip. At first, we planned to include Hoa Lu and Tam Coc in our one-day itinerary, but Jenny said that we should sort them out and keep Trang An and Mua Cave so that we could have more time to relax. And it turned out that her customized itinerary fits us so well. We not only explored the best destinations in Ninh Binh but also had leisure time to walk around talk with locals to learn more about their lifestyles. Vietnamese people are so friendly!

Great tour with a local guide!

We did a day-tour from Hanoi to Hoa Lu and Tam Coc with AZ Local Trip Our guide came from this area so knew it intimately and proved to be a wonderful guide. While it is only superficially comparable to Ha Long Bay (same limestone cliffs) it deserves recognition in its own right. The scenery was great and our bike ride through the rice harvesting paddi's was epic. The boat trip of 90 minutes was amazing - our lady rower earned her tip. I was intrigued with their method of rowing. They only use their feet! My kids love the biking part and they insist going back to Tam Coc next year! Thank Jenny for supporting us! Tour guide was pro active and energetic.

    The tour was comprehensive and covered many nice activities inclusive of a bicycle trekking at rural Tam Coc, beautiful scenary awaits. My wife and I totally enjoyed it!

    We made this Tour with a Guide named Thao

    The Tour was perfectly organized. Thao gave us so much interresting Information of the places we visited. We had a lot of fun with all the activities such as Hiking and boating on the beautiful River. We highly recommend this tour and our Guide Thao for all the Tourists.

    The tour exceeds my expectation!

    The tour guide is awesome! His English is good and the way he engaged us in the stories of Hoa Lu and Tam Coc is very interesting. Also, he is very patient and didn't rush us when we couldn't set off on time due to my sister's personal problem. His sense of humor gave him a plus. In regard of the tour itinerary, I have to say that it's suitable for us. We didn't need to rush and had a chance to explore the villages on 2 wheels, which was great! Compared to Halong Bay, Tam Coc is mediocre but it has its unique charm. Highly recommend this tour!
