Pick-up

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel. You can choose the time to start your tour.

Hanoi French Quarter
Hanoi French Quarter

We pass through narrow streets to the meeting point for joining with a group at Hanoi Old Quarter

Our first stop to visit the Hanoi French Quarter and Hanoi Opera House where you will get to know the architectural and history of Hanoi during the French colonial.

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

The second destination is the railway train tracks. Here, we can see how the locals live just centimeters from the train tracks.

We continue to explore Hanoi and stop at Ho Chi Minh complex

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square is one of the most visited attractions in Hanoi. It is the final resting place of Ho Chi Minh, the most iconic and popular leader of Vietnam, known to his people as ‘Uncle Ho’. His body is preserved here in a glass case at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in central Hanoi (albeit against his wishes).

For visitors, a trip to Uncle Ho’s final resting place can be an extraordinary experience as it is not just an average attraction; it’s a part of a unique history.

Also, have an overview of the surrounding area with president place, parliament house and all government office then our guide will tell you about the history and story of the beloved Hanoi.

Huu Hiep Lake with B52 Crash

We pass through botanical garden and narrow houses to visit Huu Hiep Lake to see the B52 Crash site at the lake.

This US bomber was shot down during the 1972 bombing raids of Hanoi, a poignant reminder of recent history.

West Lake

Next, you will ride around West Lake - Hanoi’s largest freshwater lake. It is around 17km round and the tour will take you past sights of street vendors, expat cafes, lavish hotels and small local run businesses selling fruit, grilled pork and local vegetables.

Nearby is Truc Bach lake where we stop at the monument of John MC Cain and see the place he got shot down, you will learn about the story of John MC Cain here.

An Duong market

Back on the Vespa for a ride to An Duong market where locals shop food for daily life. Here we see the bustling and vibrant atmosphere of the typical Hanoi market.

Egg coffee
Egg coffee

After the long drive, now time to relax and enjoy Vietnamese coffee, especially the famous Egg coffee. This is a must-try!

Long Bien Bridge
Long Bien Bridge

Our last destination is Long Bien Bridge (well-known by the old name during the colonial period as Paul Doumer bridge), which was constructed from 1989 to 1902 during the French occupation of the country.

More than 100 years with decades of war, Long Bien Bridge was bombed many times by air attacks by American army in 1967, 1972; and many spans of the bridge were destroyed.

The left spans still remaining today remind us of an unforgettable past. The bridge, hence, is not only a traffic construction, a nice architecture but also a living historical relic. Here you can stop to take pictures of the scenic view from the bridge

Drop-off

We then get on the Vespa and head to the local restaurant for you enjoy the Vietnamese cuisine.

After that, we will ride you back your hotel or you can get off anywhere you want just tell our rider.

Say goodbye and see you again!

Worth trying!

I will have a very memorable journey with my guide. He is so humor and knowledgable, he told me many interesting stories about Vietnamese local people and the lifestyle here. Egg cafe at Giang cafe is also very delicious. I will recommend this tour to my friends if they want to visit Vietnam in the near future.

What a great way to see Hanoi

What a great way to see Hanoi, and understand the traffic confusion. I was able to tailor the trip so we could see all the main sites we had on our list. The guide was very informative with an extensive knowledge of Vietnam history. We are not a young couple and were hesitant about getting on a motorbike in Vietnam, not anymore. Thankyou for a safe and fun way to see Hanoi.
