Quy Nhon Overview
Quy Nhon is a city of Binh Dinh province, which lies in Central Vietnam. It was known to have existed since the eleventh century – the age of Champa Kingdom. Four hundred years later, it served as Emperor Le Thanh Ton’s ruling center. Furthermore, in the Vietnam War, it was also a naval and military base of the U.S. Currently, it is still a growing port city with a population of over 260,000 people.
Besides, fishing is the primary industry in the area, which makes it an abundant source of fresh seafood. Therefore, if you are a fan of seafood, Quy Nhon is an ideal place for you.
Regarding its beauty, the medium-size city boasts an exotic beach-blessed shoreline, along with grand boulevards. Also, surrounding it is a breathtaking view of the countryside.
So far, Quy Nhon has not been considerably discovered by foreign tourists as most choose to more famous destinations like Sapa, Hue, and Hoi An. With its stunning beaches and tranquil atmosphere, it will soon become a popular tourist spot shortly.
