First off, we would love to recommend the Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel & Spa. If you are looking for an affordable yet luxurious hotel, then this place will be your best bet.
While staying here, we made the most out of its advantageous location by visiting the nearby Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre. A water puppet show is a traditional art form of the Vietnamese, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there.
Also, this lovely residence is within walking distance from the Sword Lake. At night, you might want to stroll along the bustling alleys and let yourself be let yourself be amazed at the performances given by street performers.
Regarding the hotel itself, we particularly loved the spa, the free morning buffet, and the restaurant lounge. With a professional staff available 24/7, it’s hard to say that Hanoi Emerald did not live up to our expectations!
Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel is a five-star hotel that every foreign visitor should spend a night in! Let us tell you the best features of this amazing place!
When we first arrived there, we were cordially welcomed by the receptionist, who guided us through an express check-in. The interior space is decorated with warm colors like red and yellow, so we immediately felt at home. How comfy!
And do not forget about the outdoor swimming pool. Not all of us knew how to swim, but we had a fun time playing around the edges. After getting exhausted, we treated ourselves to one of the three restaurants available within the hotel, so we didn’t even need to go out.
There are other lovely details about Sofitel Legend Metropole you may want to explore, such as the bar with luxurious wines, or the conference center if you are on a business trip. Come here and see for yourself!
Another five-star hotel in French Quarter for your reference is the Apricot hotel. With an impressive facade colored in golden, Apricot gave out a royal vibe the minute we stepped inside the hotel.
Just like Sofitel Legend Metropole. Apricot prides itself on the wide range of amenities available. While we were here, we spent a lot of time in the massage lounge and the gym. If you are a fitness fan, then Apricot will not let you down.
Another reason why we loved Apricot is its three meeting rooms. Although we were not on a business trip, we saw a lot of entrepreneurs making use of these conference centers. For roughly $131, a night staying at Apricot was really of good value!
Next up on our list of the five-star hotels in French Quarter Hanoi is Melia hotel. Located near the Old Quarter, staying at Melia hotel will provide you easy access to popular tourist destinations like the Temple of Literature or the Sword Lake.
Besides the favorable location, what we truly enjoyed while staying at Melia is its versatile facilities. With a in-room minibar and a food court available indoors, we did not have to go outside when we craved for some light snacks or afternoon teas.
If you are on a business trip, rest assured that Melia can still provide you with what you need. With a meeting hall and a daily newspaper delivery service, Melia is determined to keep you updated of the current affairs, even when you are on vacation!
Lapis hotel is another place we would like to recommend for you on your Vietnam trip. All it takes is a short drive from the Sword Lake, and you will arrive at this European-looking residence.
During our stay here, we were particularly impressed by the rooftop swimming pool. And that is not to mention the indoor gym! Lapis does not have the most prominent facilities, but they are all well-designed, which surely live up to your expectations.
Another reason why you should pay Lapis a visit is its airport transportation system. With an extra fee, Lapis will pick you up at Noi Bai airport and then drive you back there on your departure day. How convenient!
Here comes our favorite four-star boutique hotel - the Hanoi Pearl hotel. Famous for its extravagant pieces of furniture, Hanoi Pearl is designed to give you the ultimate feeling of being a royal.
With 70 rooms divided into four different standards, we had a hard time choosing which one to stay in. Finally, we opted for a deluxe room, which had a spacious queen-size bed, a bath, and a fantastic balcony.
In the morning, feel free to enjoy Hanoi from above when you laze around at the food lounge. Some of us skipped breakfast, but others decided to give the free morning buffet a try. It came with some American cuisines, but it mostly focused on traditional Vietnamese dishes.
As a five-star hotel, Hotel d’Opera Hanoi - Mgallery defines what it feels to live in luxury. Once staying here, you will have access to the most vibrant shopping centers in Hanoi like Trang Tien Plaza or Vincom Ba Trieu.
But there is more to the hotel than just its location. When we were here, we treated ourselves to the fancy couches located on the rooftop or enjoyed other amenities like the fitness gym and the indoor swimming pool.
If you want to keep your vacation professional, rest assured that Hotel d’Opera Hanoi - Mgallery will cater to your needs. A spacious conference room, two elegant restaurants, and the daily newspaper service are always ready to please any businessperson!
Somerset Grand is more of a serviced apartment tower than a hotel. That said, if you intend on a family trip, or you want to stay in Hanoi for a while, Somerset Grand is your best bet.
You are more than welcome to browse through 185 apartments here and find out which fits you best. Each room is fully equipped with unlimited wifi connection, as well as bedroom and bathroom amenities. Yay!
We didn’t have the chance to stay here, but we did drop by the front gate of the hotel. And let us tell you, you cannot get a better location in Hoan Kiem district! Within walking distance, Somerset Grand will lead you to the most popular tourist destinations like the Old Quarter, the One Pillar Pagoda or the Sword Lake.
Zephyr Suites Boutique hotel is a four-star hotel right at the center of Hoan Kiem district, and it is worth your consideration if you are looking for a luxurious stay.
What makes Zephyr Suites Boutique stand out compared to other hotels - in our opinion - is its spacious rooms. Each room is a harmonious combination of Western and Eastern architecture, which features an LCD TV, an open balcony and other necessary amenities.
Moreover, Zephyr Suites Boutique hotel also comes with a computer station provided for customers in need. In the lobby, you may find the free coffee table, and enjoy the free buffet in the morning!
If you want to stay in an internationally recognized hotel, then Hilton Hanoi Opera is at your service. The grandeur of the hotel does not come at the expense of its delicate details. You will feel amazed at how meticulously decorated this residence is once you step inside.
During our stay here, we had the chance to drop by the 7 conference centers, which were always full of businesspeople. There were even limos for rent, so customers can freely roam around the city. Yay!
Other excellent facilities at Hilton Hanoi Opera includes the swimming pool, the two restaurants, and the fitness center. Also, if you have kids, rest assured that Hilton Hanoi Opera has a small kindergarten for children to play around!
